Breakfast is included in your room/cottage rate and each morning you will be treated to a hot entrée such as Maine Blueberry Pancakes; Goat Cheese & Roasted Red Pepper Frittata; Cinnamon French Toast made with homemade cinnamon bread; Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon, and much more. You will also be treated to Pilgrim’s homemade granola, muffins and scones; Stonyfield Farm yogurt; Fresh Fruit, and Maine roasted coffee. We guarantee you will not leave the table hungry!
Dinner at the Whale’s Rib Tavern
End your day with a relaxing meal at our restaurant, the Whale’s Rib Tavern. The rustic ambiance of our historic barn, our cozy tap room, and intimate bar create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We utilize fresh local ingredients and Maine made products, and our menu offers a range of food and prices to suit many tastes and palates.
To compliment your meal, we are constantly searching for great tasting, approachable and affordable wines. With wine being produced in all 50 states and all over the world, the possibilities are endless. We stock approximately 70 different wines to match our menu, and our fun and approachable descriptions take the stress out of choosing the best wine for your meal. We also appreciate great microbrews at the Tavern and you’ll find plenty of interesting choices, particularly from the great State of Maine.
