Meet Your Innkeepers
In the Fall of 2005 we purchased Pilgrim’s Inn after searching extensively throughout New England for an exceptional property that could offer our guests a relaxing getaway in an authentic and memorable location. With its wide pine floors, original beams, rustic and romantic dining room, cozy bar, beautiful grounds, and comfortable rooms; and its location on Deer Isle with its vibrant lobster industry, scenic hiking trails, and local artisans, we knew we had found a true gem.
Our hospitality philosophy is to anticipate the needs of our guests and provide excellent service, while at the same time giving people the space to create their own experience.
We work hard to make your time with us relaxing. Whether you enjoy the company of others and like to meet new friends, or relax on your own with a good book from our library, you’ll find an atmosphere that works best for you.
We come from diverse backgrounds that gave us skills ideally suited to running an inn and restaurant. Tony is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has over 25 years of experience working as a chef in hotels, country clubs, restaurants and catering operations throughout the US and Caribbean. Tina’s New England roots run deep. She has spent her life exploring the shores of Cape Cod and Nantucket, the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire, and the trails of Maine’s Acadia National Park. She has an MBA from Boston University and a business background that helps her oversee the operations of our small business. During the off-season we live in the western mountains of Maine, where Tony serves on the Board and coaches for Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation, an organization helping people with disabilities enjoy skiing and other outdoor activities.
