Penobscot Bay Brewery Beers

The Penobscot Bay Brewery has some truly delectable, unique flavors that you will love! A favorite seasonal winter release is the Brownie Chocolate Milk Stout with cocoa richness and creamy sweetness. The Mountain Man Double IPA is a year-round popular brew with an extremely hoppy taste. Enjoy notes of citrus, pine, and earth balanced with a rich malt backbone. Meanwhile, the Penobscot Bay Brewery Humble B is a slowly fermented and cold conditioned lager malt with a touch of wheat, ginger, and honey. The Whig Street Blonde Ale is easy drinking for a lazy day or laid-back night, while the Half Moon Stout is based on an old porter recipe with a coffee aroma. Then, the Meadow Road Wheat Beer has a beautiful medium golden haze with notes of honeysuckle, clove, and banana.

Another great brewery near Deer Isle is the Deep Water Brewery in Blue Hill. This fun brewpub served dinner and solar-powered craft beer Thursday through Saturday! The on-site microbrewery is then located in the renovated barn at the back of the property. $5 pints include the Bends Pale Ale, Dark Horse Brown Ale, and Barnburner Bavarian Wheat. You can also find some delicious craft sodas here. Favorite flavors are the Maine Root Lemonade, Vermont Sweetwater Blueberry, and Maine Root Mexicola. Yum!
